I am an A Level specialist, having spent most of my career teaching in sixth form colleges.

I offer tuition on the following set texts, and help with course work.

Aspects of Tragedy texts:

• Othello
• Death of a Salesman
• A Streetcar Named Desire
• Keats’ Poetry
• The Whitsun Weddings
• The Remains of the Day
• The Handmaid’s Tale*

* The Handmaid’s Tale

This is one of my favourite texts to teach. I taught this text for five years and am delighted AQA have selected it again for this series. Having studied a paper on Canadian Literature at the University of Reading, I kept in touch with Professor Emerita Coral Howells, and assisted her in the redrafting of York Advanced Notes on this text. I was delighted to be credited in the Foreword of the edition featured right.
